The Institute of Folk Culture in Strážnice [ Cultural and entertainment centre ]
Since 1st January 1991 the Institute of Folk Culture (hereinafter IFC) has been controlled directly by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic (hereinafter MC CR) having been established as an MC CR’s specialized professional institution. It is an organization subsidized by the MC CR and operating on the whole territory of the Czech Republic within the range determined by the Foundation Charter. The purpose and the object of the IFC’s operation is determined by the Foundation Charter dated 8th June 1994 (including later amendments) which replaced the Minister of Culture provision Ref. No. 14 649/1990 dated 1st January 1990.
