Flowers have accompanied Hana Rulíková since early childhood. She helped her grandmother make homemade herbal salves and arranged bouquets with her mother—experiences that shaped the direction of her life. She went on to study landscape architecture, which remains her main profession today.
A few years ago, she received a small field from her father that had previously been rented to local farmers. She began by planting a perennial nursery to support her garden designs. Yet a large portion of the land remained unused. She started growing herbs and vegetables for personal use, but still had space left. Eventually, she added annual flowers for cutting, drying those she didn’t use herself.
At that time, she began receiving requests for local bouquets—thus the foundation was laid for a small flower farm in Lukavice. Hana grows everything from seed to finished product. She arranges bouquets based on the current season, and no two are ever the same—each one is a unique creation. Her bouquets, wreaths, and decorations always reflect seasonal plant life. When fresh flowers aren’t available, she uses dried ones. Everything used in her arrangements is compostable.
She hopes that cut flowers will once again become a natural part of our homes, bringing fragrance, joy, and smiles. Since spring 2025, she has been using the Iron Mountains – Regional Product certification for her floral creations. “What you enjoy doing as a child is often what you love in adulthood.” Hana tries to pass her love of flowers on to children.
