DENATOP PZ/SD anticorrosive styrene-acrylate enamel

DENATOP P/Z
is a unary water diluted half-matt enamel formed on the base of styrene-acrylate dispersion. It contains a combination of anticorrosive pigments including zinc-phosphate, coloured pigments, fine fillers, biocides, coalescents, and other additives modifying its properties. It contains water and a little amount of solvents on the base of glycol-ethers as thinners; it does not contain any aromatic solvents or lakbenzine.

Use: Surface finish in metal-working industry, mechanical engineering, in foundries, smithies, in repair work, in building and other industries.

Properties:
Density: 1.15 - 1.25 kg/l
Mass dry substance: 46 - 52 %
pH 8 - 10
Volume dry substance: 35 - 40 %
After the enamel becomes dry, it forms a medium-hard film, which is characterised by excellent anticorrosive properties and excellent cohesion to metal grounds.

Ground preparation: The grounds must be dry and devoid of mechanical as well as greasy impurities, and of former paint remainders not cohesive with the ground. Recommended preparation of the ground - sandblasting, degreasing, phosphatisation.

Paint application: The product is supplied in consistency for dip painting, air spraying or high-pressure spraying, for brush and paint roller application. The enamel is ready for direct use without dilution before application. The air and ground temperature during application and drying of the coat must not drop below + 15 °C.

Shades: In accordance with the swatches RAL, EUROTREND, NCS, ČSN, or in shades by arrangement.

Spreading capacity: 7 - 10 m2/kg for one layer.

Packaging and storage: Packages weighing 0.8 - 200 kg. The product should be stored in original packages at temperatures from +5 až +25 °C, storage life min. 12 months from the date of production. The enamel must not freeze.

Security and hygiene: DENATOP P/Z is not harmful in the sense of valid regulations. When working, use protective aids and observe the personal hygiene principles. Provide aeration of the workplace. When spraying, protect your respiratory organs. Wash stained skin with water and soap; if eyes are hit, wash them out properly with a stream of clean water; in serious cases seek medical treatment.

Waste liquidation: Take empty metal packages to a salvage collector, waste code: 150104. Plastic packages liquidate as other waste, waste code: 150102. Paint remainders and impure packages liquidate as dangerous waste, waste code: 080111.
