DENATOP R - acrylate dispersion enamel -

DENATOP R is a one-component, water based enamel formulated on the basis pure acrylate dispersion. It contains colourfast pigments, dispergation, soaking, and biocidal agents, coalescents, and other additives suitably modifying the properties of the composition.This enamel features excellent adherence to various subgrades, long lifetime under maintenance of appearance and colour shade, very low dirt pick-up rate, resistance to weather effects and good chemical resistance. It contains no aromatic thinners and in comparison with traditional enamels it has minimum effects on both health and environment. Only water is used to clean the tools and the thinned enamel residues are degradable biologically.

Use: top finishing coatings of steel, galvanized and aluminium structures primed with the DENAKOR anti-rusting coating and coatings on silicate structures (concrete, transite, and other fibrecement materials) primed with PRIMER B penetration paint. It is suitable especially for paints on steel structures exposed to high aggressivity environment and for coats of roofings made of steel, galvanized or aluminium metal sheet.

The enamel has excellent chemical resistance, resistance to effects of UV radiation and weather conditions.

Surface preparation:The enamel is applied onto hard, dry, clean and degreased subgrade primed with DENAKOR.

Paint aplication: It is applied by brush, lacquering roll, or by spraying, usually in two layers with a minimum pause of 4 hours between the individual coatings. The temperature must not drop below +5 °C during application and drying of the coating. At lower temperatures the enamel does not produce a perfect film and both the quality and lifetime of the coating decrease.

Theoretical spreading rate: 5 - 7 m2 of 1 kg per one coating. The enamel in the consistency as supplied is specified for direct use, if necessary it may be thinned by a small amount of water - 5 % maximum.

Tinge: It is manufactured in shades acc. to RAL colour samples or possibly in other shades agreed upon with the manufacturer.

Packaging and storing: It is packed in plastic or metal packages of 0,8 to 40 kgs weight. The product should be stored in its original packages at temperatures +5 °C to +25 °C at places protected against direct sun sudden temperature fluctuations. Its shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Safety and hygiene: DENATOP R is a non-toxic and as supplied non-combustible composition. It contains no pigments on the basis of heavy metals and Cr6. Prior to applying the coat it is recommended to treat the skin expected to come into contact with the enamel by some skin protective cream. On work it is necessary to use protective aids and to observe the principles of personal hygiene. When larger areas of skin get stained they should be washed with soap and water, when eyes get affected they shall be splashed out by a stream of clean water and in more serious cases a physician should be seen. When working indoors the working place has to be ventilated.
